Alan Coulthard is a neuroradiologist at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and professor of neuroradiology at the University of Queensland. He recently retired from interventional neuroradiology. Here he discusses recent advances in vessel wall imaging to assist in risk stratification of aneurysm treatment.
